While we hope that the number one food activity on your list when you come to Boston is to take our Sweet & Savory South End food tour or our Allston Arts & Eats tour (or both!), this city is brimming with food activities. If you are looking for even more to do, why stop the food fun with our tours? Make the most of your time here by eating your way through the city and maybe getting a little hands-on or educational experience while you’re at it. Here’s a list of cool food events that are going on in Boston this fall.
Boston University Metropolitan College Programs in Food & Wine
This series, associated with BU’s Gastronomy Masters program, offers a variety of informative and engaging activities to the public. Each year a new group of seminars are offered, all providing a unique food experience. Included in the series are hands-on demonstrations, tastings, and wine pairings. You can view the full schedule and purchase tickets here. Things kick off this year on October 11th with an event called “Beer vs. Wine – With Cheese,” taught by Ihsan Gurdal, owner of Formaggio Kitchen, one of our stops on the South End Sweet & Savory Tour. Any time spent in a room with him is time well spent, especially when there is food and drink involved!

These events are held almost every day so check out the offerings here.
