Things to Do As An Adult for Halloween in Boston
Halloween is almost here and there’s no reason you, as an adult, shouldn’t get just as excited as you used to as a little kid when you’d dress up and go trick or treating. We still want to have fun and dress up and eat lots of candy. Now though, in our adult years, we can step it up even another notch and add some sophisticated bites and booze in the mix. Boston is a great place for some adult trick or treating to happen and we’ve made a list of great places where you can do just that on and leading up to Halloween. No one’s too old for the tricks and treats of Halloween so make sure you treat yourself this year!
Coppa Halloween Patio Party
Head to one of our favorite neighborhoods, the South End, this Halloween for a night of treats at Coppa. This cozy spot is known for their inventive Italian small plates. Join them for their Halloween Patio Party from 3pm – 6pm where they’ll serve drinks for kids and adults, Sicilian pizza by the slice, and arancini balls. Whether you’re fueling up to trick or treat with your kids or shamelessly enjoying Halloween (as you should) as an adult then Coppa’s doors are open to you!

Hojoko HalloVVeen Party
If you’re feeling like shaking your pumpkin this Halloween then Hojoko is the place for you to spend an upbeat night of adult tricking and treating. The party, sponsored by Clément, goes from 8pm – 2am where there will be live music, a costume contest, and delicious brews to sip on. Buy your tickets on Eventbrite and celebrate Halloween in Fenway!

Ceramic Skull Painting Class at Summer Shack
You’ve probably heard of Paint Nite from your friends, and whether you have or haven’t attended one of their events you should absolutely take part in this one. Paint Nite Innovation Labs is getting spoooooky at Summer Shack in Cambridge with their ceramic skull Paint Nite. Join them on Saturday October 27th at 6pm to paint your own ceramic skull and then take it home after. Make sure to buy tickets, which are $55, and reserve your spot ahead of time so you’re not tricked out of treating.

Third Annual Pumpkin Carving at Lincoln Tavern
Get Spooky in Southie for your adult trick or treating this Halloween and join Lincoln Tavern for their Third Annual Pumpkin Carving Event on October 30th at 7pm. The event is currently sold out but you can get on the waitlist…so GET ON IT! Tickets are $40 and include one pumpkin, one pumpkin carving kit, and a selection of the Chef’s assorted pizzas and salad. There will be Halloween movies playing on their projector screen and prizes will be offered for the best designs. Take your pumpkin home or have it displayed at Lincoln!

Interview with a Vampire at The Liberty Hotel
The Liberty Hotel, with its intriguing prison background, is the perfect place to spend a haunted Halloween evening as an adult. Join them for their annual Halloween costume party. This 21+ event’s doors open at 8pm and doors close at 11pm. If you’re looking to have a BOOzy Halloween head to the fourth annual Bring Out The Boos cocktail event at State Park where some of Boston’s best bartenders will be mixing up some incredible Halloween-inspired cocktails.
