Finding Fun Activities with Friends Can Be Tough
Planning a fun outing with your friends in Boston can be challenging — especially when so many options feel crowded or impersonal.
Instead of enjoying a fun time together, you end up feeling lost in a group. This lack of connection can make your time feel routine and forgettable, missing the special moments you’re looking for.

It’s always been so hard to get everybody to agree to a dinner or event. But this, everybody got something different from it. We loved it!

Frequently Asked Questions
How much walking is involved?
Our tours last between 2.5-3.5 hours and generally cover less than 1.0 mile of total walking distance.
Are your experiences wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our tours are accessible for wheelchairs. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any guests using wheelchairs so we may prepare and make any necessary accommodations accordingly.
What if I don’t know my exact group size yet?
That’s ok! We can start with an estimate, and will just need the final headcount no later than 15 days prior to the event.
Will we all be crammed into a bus?
No! In fact, all of our tour experiences are conducted on foot, which gives our guests a chance to experience lots of fun streets and sites that are not accessible / visible when passing by in a vehicle. It also allows guests a chance to mingle and converse casually as we walk from eatery to eatery.
What if we have other stuff planned already?
No problem. We would love to hear what you have planned and work with you to see if our tours are a good fit with the rest of your activities. Please keep in mind that our tours can serve as a meal, so we can often become your solution for more than 1 activity. By combining a tour activity with a meal, you might be able to avoid a separate reservation for lunch or dinner elsewhere.
Will there be enough to eat?
Yes! Our tours offer hearty portions, plenty of food to serve as a full meal replacement in most cases. We can also customize menus and portions to your group’s needs if necessary.
Where does it start?
We meet our guests at the first tasting location, which differs depending on the tour and the neighborhood. Once the tour has been booked and paid for, we will send a confirmation email which will include the meeting location details, as well as other helpful day of tour information.
How much alcohol is included?
That is up to you! We can offer tours without alcohol, drink tickets, local beer tastings, open bar and other alcohol packages. We will be happy to discuss options with you during the event planning process.
How will we pay?
To book, we require a non-refundable booking deposit in the amount of $550 per guide, with the final balance and head count due no later than 15 days prior to the event date. Payments are generally made with a credit card in our ticketing system, with payment receipts sent via email. If an alternative form of payment is required, we are happy to work with you.
What if we have less/more than 20 people?
We accommodate groups of many different sizes! Generally speaking, 8 guests are required to meet Private Tour minimums, and we have itineraries formatted for larger groups, so we will likely be able to accommodate – please submit an inquiry and tell us about your group!
Are weekends available?
Weekends are the busiest time for us and our restaurant partners, so we are often not able to accommodate Private Tours on weekends. However, please contact us and we will be happy to see if it’s possible based on the date and size of your group.
What if it rains?
We have fun in all types of weather, so tours run rain or shine! As locals, we are well-versed with New England weather, and have designed our Private Tour itineraries to be able to avoid less than desirable conditions when necessary. The eateries visited are within close proximity to one another, and we do spend a significant amount of time inside the restaurants as well. So, please wear comfortable clothes and shoes for walking, dress for the forecast, and bring an umbrella if rain is predicted. We will take care of the rest!
What about dietary restrictions and food allergies?
All tastings on our tour are selected in cooperation with our partner restaurants to illustrate the menu and / or to tell a story about each establishment, so our tours are best enjoyed with as many of the tastings we have selected as possible. That said, we also want all of our guests to be able to eat and enjoy the tour, so we will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies to the best of our abilities with advance notice. Seeing as all tastings are pre-arranged to be ready for our group upon arrival to each location, we are not able to make changes to the tastings on the fly on the day of the tour.
Are your tour experiences only about local food?
Definitely not. Our tours are carefully curated outings that combine the best of touring and tasting. Our tours offer the opportunity to explore and experience Boston through the lens of local food. By combining local history and culture with local food tastings, your guests will essentially enjoy two tours in one, and leave with full bellies and fulfilled minds!
I'm proud to support our local eateries.
I love exploring different cultures through cuisine when I travel, and food has always been an integral part of special days and unforgettable experiences.
Since 2011, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some incredible chefs, owners and restaurateurs. Boston is unlike anywhere else in the world because of them.
I treasure the relationships I have built with all of our partner providers in the city, from small cafes to top restaurants.
Join us to experience Boston like you’ve never seen it before, 12+ years in the making.
Cheers,
